HydroScience Consulting's newest office was opened in October 2008. It is located in Byron Bay on the NSW North Coast and services clients in Northern New South Wales and South-East Queensland.

This is the fastest growing region in Australia. Effective management of the limited water resources has been a major challenge to the water utilities and to the community. HSc staff have been involved in a number of projects in the area designed to use water smartly. These include:

2. Ballina Heights Dual Water Supply Scheme
3. Mullumbimby Water supply upgrade
4. Main Arm Reclaimed Water Scheme
5. Lismore integrated water management strategy
6. Emigrant Creek Dam raising and strengthening
7. Richmond Valley integrated water management strategy
8. Maclean wastewater treatment and reuse project
